The Mâcon Villages grows right next to the Pouilly Fuissé area, on well balanced soils exposed east/south east wards. Therefore the wine has much in common with the Pouilly Fuissé.
Tasting Note:
The Mâcon Villages has a shiny golden colour. The scent is open on floral and honey touches, which give minerals and spicy fragrances. The taste is full, with a balance between freshness andpower which makes it charming and delightful to drink, as of today.
Food Pairing:
The Mâcon Villages will match wonderfully with fresh salmon or grilled lobster, both with aromatic herbs.
Grapes: Chardonnay
