Background:
Created in 1964, Maison Pierre Gruber has been the cornerstone of Domaine Jean-Luc & Paul Aegerter’s Burgundian activities since 1988.
The Mâcon Villages grows right next to the Pouilly Fuissé area, on well balanced soils exposed east/south east wards. Therefore the wine has much in common with the Pouilly Fuissé.

Winemaking:
The Pierre Gruber Mâcon-Villages 2024 is a white Burgundy wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The winemaking process follows traditional Burgundian methods: the grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and fermented under strict temperature control, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, crisp fruit character.

Tasting note:
The Mâcon Villages has a shiny golden colour. The scent is open on floral and honey touches, which give minerals and spicy fragrances. The taste is full, with a balance between freshness andpower which makes it charming and delightful to drink.

Food Pairing:
Chilled to between six andeight degrees, this makes an excellent aperitif or accompaniment to seafood or poultry.
